The Krefeld artist Adolf Luther is considered one of the leading representatives of the European post-war avant garde, which revolutionised the visual arts with new materials and themes like light, space and movement. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to conceptual light art and primarily achieved international fame with his glass and concave mirror objects.
